This website contains resources relating to your first aid unit.

Learning - This section contains a number of pages containing information you will need to learn.
Scenarios - This section contains a number of 'mini' case studies for you to work on. Each case study has the case study, reference videos, sign-posting to the relevant pages in your work books, and a submission box for you to submit your suggestions for the treatment of the casualty in the case study.
Case Studies - This section contains a number of larger case studies where you will be expected to address a number of issues covering a number of different first aid requirements. It will be expected that, for these larger case studies, you will submit comprehensive explanations of the treatment of the casualties referred to in the case studies.

As we progress through the year, access to the resources will be made available on a week by week basis. It will be your responsibility to ensure that you complete each task by the date requested. This web page should be used in conjunction with your course notes, which you can find on the First Aid Open Learning course.

This is an assessed unit, and assessment will be by way of 1-2-1 sessions to check your understanding and to clarify any points that require further clarification.
